The following cards and letters are posted
on the bulletin board in the bell tower.
Vicky Kramer sent us a Thank You card for the “lovely graduation card, poem and gift card. She will be starting her new career as a Project Engineer at Marathon Petroleum in Findlay OH, but will come home to us as her schedule allows.
Meredith Martin sent a Thank You card for her graduation gift and thanking us for recognizing her as one of our graduates. Meredith will be attending Temple University in the fall where she will major in psychology.
Our support of Church World Service’s efforts to minister to the people whose homes and communities were devastated by the Spring Storms is gratefully acknowledged. In addition to the seven clean-up buckets, we forwarded $58.56 (the balance of money given specifically for the buckets) to help with the cost of processing and shipping the kits.
Thank you letters were sent by Bethany Children’s Home and Phoebe-Devitt Homes for our continued support of their missions.
300 CLUB and SILENT AUCTION:
Thanks to everyone who gave their time and talent to make this year’s 300 Club and Silent Auction a success. There was plenty of good eats, plenty of good music and plenty of good fun. Can’t wait for next year!
Yard Sale:
We had a good turnout for our yard sale on June 4 and thank everyone who helped set up everything for the shoppers. Thanks to everyone who donated items. It was really great to have such a variety of merchandise.
