Thank You!

The following expressions of thanks are on the bulletin board in the bell tower:
Travis Grosz sent a card expressing his thanks for our support and love, and for thinking of him and recognizing him on his graduation.
We received a letter from Albert Yefko, a VISION client, thanking us for our hospitality and fellowship while they stayed at Emmanuel.
We received a letter from Bethany Children’s Home thanking us for our gift of $700 which fulfills our Benevolence Allotment for 2010.

Twilighters:

The Twilighters will meet on Wednesday, July 14, at 12 noon for a covered dish lunch. Bring your favorite dish and spend some time with us. Call Lois Eigenbrod or Mary Eroh for more information about our group.

Church Picnic:

Mark your calendars for Sunday, July 25, for our annual church picnic. We will hold it out back after our worship service in our new pavilion. So bring along a covered dish and some yard games for a great time of fellowship and fun.

300 CLUB FUNDRAISER and SILENT AUCTION:

THANKS to everyone who made this fundraiser a GREAT SUCCESS!!!! Everyone was raving about what a fantastic time they had. The weather was hot but a cool breeze flowed through our new pavilion, thanks to everyone who worked so hard to get it done before the fundraiser (even working in the rain or hot sunshine). People were asking if this was our first time for a 300 Club and when told that it was, they were surprised. Everything went so well and people are looking forward to this becoming an annual event. It certainly was a success from a financial standpoint also, as it raised approximately $4,000. We are really looking forward to another one next year.

[Trials and Temptations] Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. — James 1:2-3 (NIV)
