From the Pastor’s Desk

Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint (Isaiah 40:30-31).

From Advent anticipation, to the glorious night of Jesus’ […]

Pastor’s Corner

The word Advent means “coming” or “arrival.” The focus of the entire season is preparation to celebrate the birth of Jesus the Christ in his First Advent, and the anticipation of the return of Christ the King in his Second Advent. Thus, Advent is far more than simply marking a 2,000 year old event in […]

We will meet after Worship on December 10 for caroling. We’ll raise our voices and spirits as we sing songs of the season to residents of our local nursing homes and to our homebound.

Come with us and sing glory to the newborn king!

There’s something happening on the hills outside Bethlehem and field reporter Lost Soul along with news anchor Christmas Message are on the case. Everything seems “All Clear at Midnight”, but then reports of heavenly singing, strange beings, and a bright star lead to the breaking story of the birth of a king. And not just […]

Christmas Eve

Anyone wishing to present music prior to the Christmas Eve Service is asked to see Denise Dean. We will begin at 7:00 pm and conclude at 7:30 pm. If you are more inclined to read a poem or selection, that would be very welcome also.

[BOOK I Psalms 1–41] Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night. — Psalm 1:1-2 (NIV)
