An inspirational evening of songs and worship is planned for August 12 at 7 pm. Re-creation was organized in 1976 to present live performances in hospitals, Veterans Affairs facilities, nursing homes and other care facilities. They [...] Jim and Lynne Stewart became grandparents on Sunday, July 29, when Madeline Claire Pugh was born. Madeline is the daughter of Greg and Natalie (Stewart) Pugh. She was 8 lb 4 oz and 18½ inches long at birth. Welcome, Madeline!
Magazines for Nursing Homes Cindy Heller is still collecting magazines for local nursing [...] It’s summer and time for our choir to be on vacation. But that doesn’t mean that we want a vacation from music. Anyone who will sing, play an instrument or (if you’re really talented) do both, is welcome to pick a Sunday to make a joyful noise to our God. What a wonderful adventure we had at this year’s vacation bible school!! We had a great time exploring the Bible with the help of our underwater friends, Polly Pufferfish, Stacy Starfish, Oscar Octopus, Randi Rainbowfish, Craig Crab and Tina Turtle. Polly (Judy Brown) guided ocean biologist, Muriel (Pastor Penny), who’s name [...] Several years ago we gathered mission donations for a young local girl, Paige Ceaser, who suffers from Cystic Fibrosis. Paige continues to need medical treatment and constant medical attention. We would like to assist her family with the costs of these treatments and have chosen her to receive the mission donations for this year’s Vacation [...] But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
