Don [...] Participants from the local Wapwallopen Ministerium churches will gather at Emmanuel for the Annual CROP Walk on Sunday, October 3. Registration is at 12:30 pm. After we gather in the church for a time of prayer, the walk will begin at 1:00 pm. We will walk from Emmanuel to St. James Lutheran Church where we [...] NIN is a special mission offering of the UCC that supports ministries of justice and compassion throughout the United States. One-third of NIN funds support the Council for American Indian Ministry (CAIM). Two-thirds of the offering is used by the UCC’s Justice and Witness Ministries (JWM) to support a variety of justice initiatives, advocacy efforts, [...] Pastor Penny will lead a retreat entitled “Exploring Healing Prayer” at Emmanuel on November 5 and 6. Other members of the leadership team include retired and active UCC and United Methodist pastors, plus Pastor Archie, with Dwain Straight providing the music.
